FIFA 21 players who already bought the game on PS4 or Xbox One can get their free digital copy on PS5 or Xbox Series X|S starting from today.

According to the latest tweet from the official EA Sports FIFA account, some of the players are now able to redeem their last-gen copies of FIFA 21 on new consoles to get the free Dual Entitlement feature, allowing them to have the game on both current-gen and las-gen consoles of the same brand. If it just doesn't work for you right now, then you should probably wait until tomorrow when the feature will be available for all players around the world.

Previously, some people had serious problems with getting the free copies of Ubisoft games on PS5, which is still under investigation over at Ubisoft Support. It's yet to be seen whether the same problem would happen for FIFA 21 players or not, but if it happens, then we can assume that there's something wrong on Sony's end with free upgrades.

FIFA 21 was on sale for a week during Black Friday, which helped to game to have the biggest share of the sales during last week in the UK. Both Ultimate and Champions editions of the game were hit by considerable discounts.

With some new features in Ultimate Team and Career modes, FIFA 21 almost brings the same experience as the last iteration with some overall improvements in the case of gameplay. If you have whether to get it or not, you can check out our review of the game where we broke down each part of the game and evaluated the whole experience. Also, if you are an EA Play or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscriber, you can freely play ten hours of FIFA 21 on your platform to have a better understanding of the game's progress compared to the previous entry.
