Here's the thing about this John Stones card, it's not that bad. It's a good card that lets you upgrade base Joe Gomez. The issue is that he's going to run you about 145,000 coins, which is significantly more expensive than Gomez. And, for only 50,000 coins more, you can grab base Virgil van Dijk. So, he's essentially stuck in a spot where he's not top-tier, but also not good or cheap enough to really be worth your coins. It's a weird choice from EA as I'm not sure who's completing this card at that price.

Unfortunately, the fodder market is just ridiculously high right now due to other SBCs currently available. If we didn't have the repeatable Base Icon SBC available, this card likely comes in significantly cheaper, making it more attractive. So, unless you're a Manchester City fan, I think I'd skip this one. That said, if you need some help completing it, check out the solution below for inspiration.

FIFA 21 - John Stones SBC

As you can see, the cheapest way to get to the rating is grabbing a few higher-rated players and filling the team out with 83s. The 83-rated market is still super low, while almost everything over 84 is way up in price. Check your club for a few high-rated players and build around them.

FIFA 21 is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
