As we approach the end of 2021, two things are inevitable. That's the release of a new Call of Duty title and the arrival of a new FIFA. Unlike Call of Duty though, details of a FIFA 22 Closed Beta have been revealed.

When Is The FIFA 22 Closed Beta?

According to FUTZone, the Closed Beta is set to take place on Wednesday, August 11th. An exact time of when the Beta will go live is yet to be announced.

If you're lucky enough to gain access to the upcoming FIFA 22 Beta, you'll have exclusive access to some of the most popular FIFA modes such as Ultime Team, Pro Clubs, Career Mode and possibly more.

How Do You Sign Up & Play The FIFA 22 Closed Beta?

FIFA 22's upcoming Closed Beta seems to be somewhat exclusive, with codes being sent out at random by EA. But, there is a way you can increase your chances of receiving a Beta code.

Players will need to make sure their EA Account preferences are set accordingly to be eligible for a Beta code. Follow the steps below to ensure you have the best chances of gaining access.

  • Sign in to your EA Account here
  • Select Email Preferences from the Menu on the left hand side of the page
  • Make sure to tick the box which states "Yes, email me bout EA's products, new events and promotions consistent with the EA Privacy and Cookie Policy"
  • Add your Preferred Games and Platforms (Beta only available on PlayStation & Xbox)
  • Select the Update button

This doesn't guarantee you a code for the Closed Beta but does increase your chances. As mentioned previously, EA or reportedly sending codes out at random.

What Is The FIFA 22 Release Date?

FIFA 22 will launch on October 1st, 2021 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and Google Stadia.
