Fighting EX Layer may lack the “Street Fighter” brand in the title, but it’s still developed by Arika, the team being the Street Fighter EX series.

As such, the game — which was released worldwide today for PS4 — retains a lot of the familiar characters that Arika created for the Street Fighter spinoff.

Today they also released a launch trailer, in which we get to see all of those characters, twelve of which are included in the game.

Fighting EX Layer is avalable in two editions: the Light Version costs $39.99 and includes twelve characters and five Gougi decks. The Standard version costs $59.99 and adds the thirteenth character Hokuto (the second personality of Shirase) and ten additional Gougi Decks.

You can watch the trailer below. If you want to see more about the game, you can also check out another gameplay video, and previous footage, alongside a comparison between the visuals on standard PS4 and PS4 Pro.

While for the moment the game is available only on PS4, a Steam version is not out of the question.
