Earlier today, Square Enix revealed a lengthy new trailer for Final Fantasy 7 Remake. The trailer gave fans their first look at characters from Shinra as well as some of the in-game summons. Those that have played Final Fantasy 7 before know that the trailer also contained some key scenes from earlier parts of the game that involved the Honey Bee Inn scene with Aerith, Cloud, Tifa, and Don Corneo. Aerith's voice actress, Briana White, released her reaction to seeing the new trailer.

White's portfolio mostly consists of conventional acting roles, with Final Fantasy 7 Remake being one of her first major video game roles. Despite this being her first major voice acting role, White's clearly been a fan of games as she leads a popular Twitch and YouTube channel called Strange Rebel Gaming where she plays a number of titles and interacts with viewers. In her latest reaction video, White watches the Tokyo Game Show trailer of Final Fantasy 7 Remake and seems just as excited as all of us to see the character reimagined.

Square Enix faced some criticism after announcing the main cast of Final Fantasy 7 Remake. Mostly due to the fact that Cody Christian would be replacing Steve Burton as the voice actor for Cloud. Aerith's voice actress has changed a number of times over the years and this will be White's first time voicing the iconic heroine.

In the past, Aerith was voiced by Mandy Moore in Kingdom Hearts, but was later replaced by Mena Suvari in Kingdom Hearts 2 and Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children. At the release of Final Fantasy 7: Crisis Core Andrea Bowen would take on the role and would be used again in multiple titles including Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy and Final Fantasy Explorers.
