Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intro Sequence Revealed at E3 2019

Final Fantasy 7's legendary opening sequence with Cloud jumping off the train was fully revealed

June 10, 2019

Square Enix revealed plenty of new details on Final Fantasy 7 Remake during its E3 2019 conference. At the beginning of the show, the legendary opening sequence of Final Fantasy 7 was revealed in its remade, incredible beauty. We finally got a full look on it, with Aerith in the streets of lower Midgard, the LOVELESS neon sign, and the famous pan out showing all of Midgard and Shinra’s headquarters towering over all sectors.

You can find the intro video below. The show also gave us a full explanation of Final Fantasy 7 Remake‘s battle system, and we finally got to see Tifa and Sephiroth as well.

I have to admit I was quite skeptical about this remake, but the battle system seems particularly great and I’m really looking forward to it now. Past trailers all felt like just another action game but with FF7 characters. Looking at all this new footage finally feels like I’m looking at an actual remake of FF7 now. I can’t wait.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake will be launching worldwide on March 3, 2020, exclusively on PS4.
