Believe it or not, we're actually getting pretty close to the release of Final Fantasy VII Remake in early 2020. To make that wait until release just a bit easier, Square Enix has today revealed a slew of new screenshots from the highly-anticipated title.

Released via the PlayStation Blog, over 20 new images in total from Final Fantasy VII Remake have been unveiled, and they show off many different areas from the game. Some of these pictures simply show off some of the combat situations that Cloud, Aerith, and the rest of the gang might find themselves in over the course of the game. Others, however, give a bit more insight into how menus within the game will work and show off the ways in which you can activate various game modes or upgrade your Buster Sword.

Likely the most notable new images from Final Fantasy VII Remake included in this dump show off both Chocobos and Moogles. Through the use of their stampede ability, these iconic Final Fantasy characters can deal out massive damage to enemies during fights.

There are a variety of other images as well that show off some of the other activities you can do within the game, such as playing darts. There are also a handful of new character portraits as well showing off many of the familiar faces that you'll come across. All in all, Final Fantasy VII Remake continues to look gorgeous on a visuals front. Hopefully, the rest of the experience will be able to match these gorgeous graphics in terms of quality.
