Final Fantasy Agito Might Come West: Trademarks Registered In Europe

on September 13, 2013 1:15 PM

While the PSP JRPG Final Fantasy Type-0 is still stuck in a limbo, the smartphone game set in the same world and recently announced by Square Enix Final Fantasy Agito might actually come westwards.

Square Enix just filed yesterday for the registration of two trademarks for it in the European Union (a word trademark and a pictorial one).

You can see a screencap of the trademark search for both below, and try to contain your rage because the smartphone game might actually be localized, while the one we wanted and waited for in the last two years is nowhere to be seen.

On the other hand, maybe a successful release of Final Fantasy Agito might convince Square Enix to release its predecessor perhaps on the PS Vita? Yeah…I’m trying to be naively optimistic here.
