Bravely Default developer Silicon Studio announced today with a press release a collaboration with Hronobu Sakaguchi's Mistwalker for a new game. According to the announcement, the game's title, contents, release timing and more will be announced at a later date.

The collaboration will combine the "outstanding imagination" of Mistwalker with the "technology and long-term management capability" of Silicon Studio in order to "provide the best experience for gamers around the world."

Hironobu Sakaguchi himself accompanied the announcement with a comment, promising a game with a great story, gameplay, graphics and sound, topped by the excellent programming technology of Silicon Studio.

At the moment no platform has been announced, but Silicon Studio works on multiple advanced middleware suites like the game engine Orochi, the optics middleware Yebis and the rendering engine Mizuchi, that was relatively recently showcased working on PS4.

We'll keep you updated on further announcement coming down the line, but for now you can check out an illustration that came with the press release below.
