A rating on Europe's PEGI website has appeared for Final Fantasy IX on PS4.

While nothing is confirmed yet, it's not unlikely that the updated PC version of Final Fantasy IX will make its way onto the console. Especially considering that Final Fantasy VII was released on PS4 back in December of 2015 with a cleaner look, as well as trophy support and some other cool little features that made the game a lot more fun.

Final Fantasy IX -- which first arrived on the scene all the way back on July 7, 2000, via the PS1 --  released on PC not too long ago as well, back in April of 2016 with the same upgraded visuals, achievements, and additions that were added to VII. With Tokyo Game Show just around the corner it'd be cool if Square Enix brought the game with them this year for fans and newcomers who may want to go back and play the older titles. We'll be sure to keep you updated on any news coming from Square this week.
