Square Enix sent us two starter decks as well as six packs from their upcoming Opus VIII set in the Final Fantasy TCG. Players will be able to purchase packs in the set starting tomorrow, and the Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy XIV starter decks are already available. You can check out our unboxing video down below.

Opus VIII is the first set that'll include cards based on Final Fantasy XV and the mobile title Final Fantasy Brave Exvius. Booster packs will net you 10 cards each while start decks will have 50. Each starter deck also comes with an instruction manual that'll teach you how to play the game, if you want to do more than just collect. I've also included a tutorial video from Square Enix down below that'll teach you how to play in just a few minutes so definitely check it out.

The Final Fantasy TCG features cards representing nearly every Final Fantasy to date, including spin-offs and mobile titles. Whether you've only played a couple of games in the series or many, the game will introduce you to some beautiful artwork from characters, monsters, and worlds across the history of the iconic video game series.
