The latest issue of Square Enix's GanGan manga magazine features the image at left, a new redheaded member of Class Zero not previously seen in the trailers or artwork. This makes Ginger Bandana Man the fifteenth main character, including Machina and Rem.

In the interview with GanGan, Type-0 director Hajime Tabata also stated that the game should run about 40 hours on the first play-through. A second play-through will feature a different story centering on Class Zero and will present a completely different experience.
