It's a Final Fantasy morning! Famitsu's latest issue contains a blip on elusive Final Fantasy Versus XIII, straight from Tetsuya Nomura himself. This time Nomura is promising even better graphics than the ones we saw in the trailers last year, and that the real-time rendering system has vastly improved.

Versus XIII will have a 7:3 ratio of real-time scenes to pre-rendered CG movies. These pre-rendered scenes will not interfere with gameplay and player control, he added, stating that this is why the famous scene between Noctis and Stella was changed from real-time to CG.

The next time we see the game running on hardware, it'll be on a PlayStation 3. And hopefully there will be an announcement on it sometime this year. So sayeth Nomura.
