Square Enix is holding a special stream to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Final Fantasy VII, first released on January 31, 1997, on PlayStation 1, and many fans believe we'll get news on the Remake's sequel(s).

Final Fantasy VII is one of the most beloved games of all time, not only because it's a top-notch experience but also for its cultural and historical importance. FF7 was for many outside Japan the first-ever JRPG experience. I'm speaking for myself as well, as while Wonder Boy III: The Dragon's Trap would be my first JRPG, FF7 is the game that made me realize I love the genre.
