Amidst the exciting news for the upcoming Final Fantasy VII Remake, interesting tidbits for the Final Fantasy VII PS4 port have been revealed: three new in-game cheats are available in the port.
All cheats will display an icon in the lower left corner of the screen when activated, as shown in the screenshots below.
The first cheat, to avoid all random encounters, is activated by pressing down on L3 and R3 simultaneously. Toggling these buttons will turn the feature on and off:
To refill all health and limit breaks, simply press down the R3 stick:
Finally, to triple the game's speed press down the L3 stick. This will toggle 3X speed on. Toggling this button will turn the feature on and off. This affects all in-game activities, including some cut scenes:
