Final Fantasy VII Recreated Entirely With Little Big Planet 2’s Engine

Many Final Fantasy VII fans have been clamoring for an HD remake for years, and now one intrepid gamer by the name of TheJamster1992 has recreated the experience for the modern age — in Little Big Planet 2.

According to Jamster, the classic JRPG title was recreated using Little Big Planet 2‘s engine for Little Big Planet 3. He not only fit the entire story into 31 playable levels, but also made a battle system with limit breaks in place, remade every cutscene and line of dialog, included all five Materia types using creatinators, remade the full soundtrack, every character, boss, enemy type and a world map.
