Final Fantasy VII Remake Fan Art Shows 7th Heaven Illustrated by DC Comics Artist

DC Comics artist Gabriel Picolo gives a striking rendition of one of the most iconic locations in Final Fantasy VII Remake, 7th Heaven bar.

In the two weeks since its release, Final Fantasy VII Remake has already been off to a strong start. The long-anticipated remake has already reached an impressive milestone of over 3.5 million copies shipped and debuted to many strong reviews. Aside from its critical and commercial success, the game has also seemed to tap into strong emotions from fans that have been waiting for this game for so long, with many fans creating their own tributes to the game, such as this one from a DC Comics artist.

DC Comics artist Gabriel Picolo shared an illustration inspired by the release of Final Fantasy VII Remake, with the fan art showing Cloud, Barret, and Tifa gathering at her iconic bar, 7th Heaven. As a pivotal moment in the story and a location that players of FFVII Remake visit several times over the course of the time, there is a lot to enjoy from this striking illustration, including all the small subtle details that help bring Tifa’s bar to life. Picolo is an artist and illustrator based in Sao Paulo, Brazil that has been known for his work on DC Comics’ series Teen Titans: Beast Boy. Several other Final Fantasy fans have shared their own unique creations in the past few weeks with the release of Final Fantasy VII Remake. So far that has included a crafty FFVII Remake fan’s mother that has recreated several characters from the game, along with impressive illustrations of fan favorite characters like Jessie and Tifa. Another fan also managed to create an impressive pixel art rendition of one of the game’s pieces of key art with the core characters all together.
