Fans have been waiting for quite some time to see how the long-awaited Final Fantasy VII Remake ended up delivering on a remake of one of the most beloved video games of all-time. Thankfully, it seems that FFVII Remake has more than delivered, with one fan on Twitter paying tribute to the game's iconic characters through beautiful fan art.

tDsuke on Twitter shared a collection of fan art portraits of Cloud Strife, Tifa Lockhart, Aerith Gainsborough, and Sephiroth as they appear in FFVII Remake. Beautifully illustrated, the portraits each manage to capture the essence of FFVII's memorable characters in different styles and settings, and work quite well with one another. Given the love and admiration that so many fans have for the original game, it's no surprise that Final Fantasy VII Remake's release has been inspiring some particularly incredible fan creations. A fan illustration of original Cloud and Remake Cloud preparing for this new adventure went viral on Twitter the day that FFVII Remake released, while another fan is creating and selling home-made Buster Swords on Etsy. Likewise, you can also watch as Briana White, the voice actor for Aerith in Final Fantasy VII Remake, sees and hears herself in the game for the very first time with a heart-warming reaction.
