Final Fantasy VII Remake Will Appear at Jump Festa; Multi-Part Nature Explained

Square Enix announced today that its Jump Festa line-up has been updated, adding the Final Fantasy VII Remake.

The game will appear with a video, and according to the official description, attendees will be able to enjoy “memories of scenes and battles reborn thanks to modern technology.”

On top of that, we also get an update on the multi-part nature of the game, by way of Wall Street Journal reporter Takashi Mochizuki (via NeoGAF), who mentioned that according to Square Enix the data size is “huge.”

Mochizuki-san also added that the basic story will remain the same, but there will be additional scenes.

Jump festa will be held at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba, near Tokyo, between December 19th and December 20th.
