As one of the most highly-anticipated new games to release in 2020, the upcoming Final Fantasy VII Remake is already riding on a wave of hype and hope from fans that it will deliver the remake of the classic game that we have been waiting for. While the game itself was delayed recently by a month to April 2020, we won't have too much longer to wait for the first chapter of this anticipated remake. Square Enix is also pulling out all the stops when it comes to making exciting events around the game, including an upcoming concert tour that will kick off after Final Fantasy VII Remake's launch this June.

Square Enix has announced the Final Fantasy VII Remake Orchestra World Tour, which will bring orchestral performances of the upcoming game's soundtrack to cities in the US, Singapore, Thailand, the UK, and Japan. The tour will start at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, CA on June 14, with the tour scheduled to run through February 2021 in Tokyo, Japan.

The concert tour, which is being presented in collaboration with AWR Music Productions, will deliver "an electrifying new concert" based around the score and visuals from Final Fantasy VII Remake. Square Enix also detailed that the concert tour will offer "all new symphonic arrangements" from the game's soundtrack, including the newly-unveiled theme song "Hollow" from series composer Nobuo Uematsu, with the orchestra being led by Grammy Award-winning conductor Arnie Roth. In addition to performances from the game's soundtrack, the concert tour will also feature several scenes from the game itself to accompany the music.

This of course isn't the first time that Square Enix has brought the music of its acclaimed games on tour, as just recently there has been the NieR: Automata concert tour that will be stopping in London this weekend. Previously, Square Enix has had other concerts tied to the Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts series, and with Final Fantasy VII Remake as one of its most highly-anticipated titles yet, it only makes sense that the publisher would want to deliver an exciting fan experience to celebrate its upcoming release through its music.

Final Fantasy VII Remake will release for PS4 on April 10, 2020, and you can pre-order the game right now over on Amazon.
