Final Fantasy X HD Gets Some Lovely Screenshots to Start the Nostalgia Train

Now that Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD has been officially announced (much to my joy), it’s time for the media train to start. Today Square Enix started the dances with a set of screenshots from the HD remaster of Final Fantasy X, some of which you may have glimpsed on the scans of the latest Jump issue that circulated a couple days ago, but now you can ogle at them in all their glory, with full resolution and color.

Of course the game still shows a bit of its age, but honestly who cares? It’s Final Fantasy X, and I know I’m gonna  savor its lovely romance (that has been sorely missing from later Final Fantasy titles, for shame) like the sweetest Kool-aid, and so will you.

You can check out the gallery below and join me on the memory train. I have a feeling it’ll be a nice ride.
