Final Fantasy X HD's Development May be Moving Slowly

A tiny, golden detail has been released about Square Enix’s upcoming re-release Final Fantasy X HD. The title was first announced at last year’s Tokyo Game Show, and has been practically invisible since that time. This is presumably because the game’s development is moving rather slowly. A member of the game’s localization team disclosed at this year’s TGS that the title is still on its way, but development may be somewhat “slow” for some undisclosed reasons.

Final Fantasy X is a big game and if they plan to add any new content in addition to updating the visuals, then it may be some time before the game sees release. In my opinion, that could be a good thing. Final Fantasy X HD is confirmed for PlayStation Vita and PlayStation 3.
