Today Square Enix announced with a press release that Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age for PS4 passed one million shipments.

The number has been reached summing up shipped copies and digital downloads on the PlayStation Store, and it’s quite a success for a remaster.

In order to celebrate, the publisher released a brand new illustration by Art Director Isamu Kamikokuryo, on top of a remastered version of the cinematic title trailer. They’re perfect for a renewed blast from the past in the morning.

You can enjoy both below and bask on the glory of the history of the Final Fantasy franchise, brought back to life and met by success, which is always a good story to tell.

If you’re not familiar with Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age, you can check out our full review, which needless to say, is rather enthusiastic.

RPGs (of any nationality) and MMORPGs are his daily bread, but he enjoys almost every other genre, prominently racing simulators, action and sandbox games. He is also one of the few surviving fans of the flight simulator genre on Earth.
