Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age looks lovely in about 28 minutes of direct feed gameplay showing the beginning of the game.

July 4, 2017

Today the British retailer Game posted a large chunk of gameplay of Square Enix’s upcoming Final Fantasy XII remaster Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age.

The video showcases the beginning of the game, which looks really pristine thanks to the remastered visuals. Of course, it includes mild spoilers, but since it’s just the beginning, and most of you already played the original game, it shouldn’t be too big of a deal. That said, if you never played the game before and want to go in blind, you might want to refrain.

You can enjoy the video below, and if you want to see more, you can take a look at some more gameplay and a key art, and even more recent gameplay plus a cutscene, on top of the newest story trailer, another trailer from Japan, and a batch of screenshots showing the game’s Espers, mobhunts and more.

Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age will release on July 11th in North America and Europe, and on July 13th in Japan and Asia, exclusively for PS4.

RPGs (of any nationality) and MMORPGs are his daily bread, but he enjoys almost every other genre, prominently racing simulators, action and sandbox games. He is also one of the few surviving fans of the flight simulator genre on Earth.
