Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age Gets New PS4 Gameplay: Battle, Gambit and Trial Mode

Square Enix shows off Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age running on PS4.

During a panel at PAX East, Square Enix introduced some new gameplay of Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age.

In the videos below, we get to see how the visuals of the game were improved, quite a lot of combat, the iconic Gambit system, and a video introducing the Trial mode.

The Trial mode was first introduced in Final Fantasy XII International Zodiac Job System on PS2, and lets you fight through 100 successive stages, with bonus characters appearing to fight by your side.

During the same panel, Square Enix also announced the Special Editions for the game, and showcased the appearance of Balthier in World of Final Fantasy.

Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age will release on July 11th in North America and Europe and on July 13th in Japan and Asia, exclusively for PS4.
