Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age is speeding towards its release, and Square Enix launched a brand new trailer.

The video focuses on the game's story in an epic crescendo that showcases all the major characters in the game, using a combination of CGI and in-engine cutscnes. Of course, the latter are those that benefited from the fresh coat of paint received by Final Fantasy XII after eleven years.

Funnily, Final Fantasy XII is certainly not my favorite game of the series story-wise, but it's quite hard to prevents all those feels from reawakening while watching this kind of trailer.

You can watch the trailer below, and see if it has the same effect with you. If you want to see more, you can enjoy two recent trailers, two more and the last three of the series, on top of another showcasing the gambit system.

Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age will release on July 11th in North America and Europe and on July 13th in Japan and Asia, exclusively for PS4.

It will come with improved graphics, and the additions from the International Zodiac Job System from 2007, that was never localized for the west before. Trophy support will also be included, as well as a remastered soundtrack with a few new tracks.
