Following the announcement of Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age by the western arm of Square Enix, the Japanese side followed up with its own assets and there is something definitely interesting in the midst.

One of the things console players definitely won't get is 48:9 aspect ratio and one of the screenshots in massive 7680x1440 resolution we get from Japan shows exactly that, compared with the standard 16:9 and the ultrawide screen aspect ratio 21:9.

That is three 16:9 monitors placed side by side in 2560×1440 pixels if you want to immerse yourself in the game from all directions. Of course, you'll need beefy hardware to achieve this result, but it's certainly lovely.

On top of that, we also get two 1080p screenshots that are slightly different from then their North American counterparts, and a beautiful key illustration created for the occasion by Art Director Isamu Kamikokuryo.

You can check them all out in the gallery below, with the illustration both with and without logos, to fit your preference. If you want to learn more about Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age, you can read our review of the currently-available PS4 version.

The PC version will release on Steam on February 1st.
