Final Fantasy XIII Release Date Announced

You read the headline, you’re excited, your chewing off your nails. At least that’s what you avid Final Fantasy fans are probably doing. Finally, a release date for one of the most hyped-up RPGs this generation – Final Fantasy XIII – has received a release date here in North America. The date? March 9th, 2010.

The North American release debuts just three months after the Japanese release date, which does in fact seem a bit shocking being that the release windows are usually a bit longer. Along with this great news for you Final Fantasy whores, Square Enix has also announced its new “Lucky Number 13” campaign. The campaign is set to release new information about the game the 13th of every month until the game’s release, which started today.

March 9th is the date that should be checked off on your calendars. I’m sure everyone thought that the game was going to release sometime maybe next Fall; but, Square Enix has surprised us today with this relieving news. Is this good news or what?
