Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn Trailers Show The Beauty of the World and The Duty Finder

July 4, 2013

Square Enix just released two new videos of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, that will be released on PC and PS3 on August the 27th and on PS4 next year.

The first trailer showcases a seven minute-long tour of the world of Eorzea, putting beautiful vistas from the PC version in comparison with the PS3 version. The second stars Director and Producer Naoki Yoshida and Community Manager Toshio Murouchi as they explain the Duty Finder, which is the game’s own version of a cross server group finder.

One thing is for sure: it’s hard not to be extremely impressed by just how beautiful and rich the redesigned Eorzea is compared to the old one featured in the original Final Fantasy XIV, and if you like enormous boss monsters the end of the tour trailer has another “big” surprise in store for you.

You can see both videos below while we wait for friday, when the floodgates of the beta will be open again.

Hailing from sunny (not as much as people think) Italy and long standing gamer since the age of Mattel Intellivision and Sinclair ZX Spectrum. Definitely a multi-platform gamer, he still holds the old dear PC nearest to his heart, while not disregarding any console on the market. RPGs (of any nationality) and MMORPGs are his daily bread, but he enjoys almost every other genre, prominently racing simulators, action and sandbox games. He is also one of the few surviving fans of the flight simulator genre on Earth.
