Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is proving more and more a safe heaven for Final Fantasy fans as they await for the release of the next full blown numbered chapter of the series, and today Square Enix released a patch for update 2.5 part I, 2.51 and Part II, the first of which will hit the servers on January 20th, followed by the other two in Late February and Late March.

We get a glimpse on the epic final arc of the 2.0 storyline, on the many new dungeons, including the stunning “Keeper of the Lake,” which will finally prompt us to face the ancient dragon Midgardsormr (or at least his spirit), the Gold Saucer casino, including Chocobo racing and the Triple Triad minigame, and much more.

If you’re a Final Fantasy fan and you still aren’t playing this game, you’re really missing out.
