Final Fantasy XIV Beta Closes Sunday

While the open beta for Square-Enix’s high production MMO Final Fantasy XIV only launched earlier this month, they’re shutting the show down on September 19th. For those of us who’ve only had access for just over a week, it feels like being at a carnival for ten minutes before it begins to rain.

The game officially launched on August 31st, so if you really like what you’ve seen so far, you may be inclined to look into it a little more. Your character(s) will probably transfer to the full game WoW style. The game is available now for the PC and a PS3 release is planned for next year.
