The Final Fantasy XIV Companion app caused a lot of differences of opinion among users. Yet, no one has yet been affected (at least to our knowledge) by the possibly-tragic consequences of being distracted by the app while walking around,

Square Enix evidently wants to make sure that Pokémon GO-like incidents don't start happening. They released a funny trailer in which characters break rules of basic decency when playing an online game on their smartphones, and pay the consequences for that.

So remember kids. Don't look at your smartphone while driving magitek armor. That's just lame.
