Final Fantasy XIV Expansion’s Box Arts Revealed for West and Japan; Which One do You Like the Most?

Looks like the often unwelcome tradition of different box artwork between Japan and the West continues with Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn‘s expansion Heavensward, as revealed today by Square Enix itself.

In the gallery below you can see the western cover art (above), compared with the Japanese one (below). While they’re both rather spiffy, in my opinion the artwork in the Japanese version is simply a lot more effective.

Judge for yourself, and let us know which one you like the most.
