FINAL FANTASY XIV: A REALM REBORN,” which began operation last August, “DRAGON QUEST X,” which was launched in August 2012, and “FINAL FANTASY XI,” which has entered its thirteenth year of operation—maintain nearly 1,000,000 paying subscribers all together, and have established a solid revenue base

The report also mentions that Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is on a positive trend.

The software sales and operation of “FINAL FANTASY XIV: A REALM REBORN,” a massively multiplayer online role-playing game released in August 2013, have been making favorable progress.

Considering that just a couple years ago many thought that Final Fantasy XIV was dead in the water, it's amazing how Director and Producer Naoki Yoshida and his team managed to turn things around, going from one of the worst disasters of the history of MMORPGs, to one of its most successful entries without even dropping the pay to play business model.
