Final Fantasy XIV is Holding Free Login Campaign for a Week After Shadowbringers Launch

If you have been wanting to jump back into Final Fantasy XIV, Square Enix is holding a free login campaign over the next week.

August 9, 2019

Last month, Final Fantasy XIV received a new expansion, Shadowbringers. While the expansion has caused many players to jump back into the game, Square Enix is holding a free login campaign over the next week in order to entice inactive players to return to Final Fantasy XIV. This free login campaign for Final Fantasy XIV starts today and is running until August 16, 2019.

If you have previously purchased and registered yourself with the game but have not played Final Fantasy XIV for at least the past thirty days, you have the chance to dive back in until 7:59am PT on August 16. If you are still unsure if you are eligible, Square Enix did list eligibility and other notes regarding this free login campaign on the game’s official website.

Of course, this free login campaign did not come at a random time for Final Fantasy XIV. As I previously mentioned, the great Shadowbringers expansion recently released, which should ensure returning players have a lot to sink their teeth into. In addition, the Moonfire Faire seasonal event is currently going on in Final Fantasy XIV as well. While the Moonfire Faire event runs until August 26, those returning via the free login campaign this week will be able to obtain the seasonal equipment and housing items from the event.

Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers free login campaign runs from today until August 16 across PC and PS4. If you just want to pick up the full game, it is available on Amazon right now.
