Today Square Enix released two TV commercials of its critically acclaimed MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV.

The commercials ride on the back of the TV show “Daddy of Light,” that is currently being aired in Japan, and will come to the west as well on Netflix.

The TV show tells the story of a father and his son finding a connection as they play the game together. It’s a bit cheesy, but very cute and heartwarming.

You can check out the commercials below, and if you want to see more, you can download the Stormblood benchmark to test out your PC, and read our recap of the latest Letter from the Producer Live. Today, Square Enix also fully unveiled Stormblood‘s theme song by Nobuo Uematsu.

Final Fantasy XIV‘s new expansion Stormblood will release on June 20th exclusively for PC and PS4, with the PS3 version of the game getting discontinued.
