Following the Final Fantasy XIV FanFest keynote in Frankfurt, that DualShockers attended, Square Enix revealed a new batch of official screenshots and artwork of the new expansion, titled "Stormblood"

We get to see more on the newly revealed samurai job, the new areas Ruby Sea, Yanxia and Azim Steppe, the new far Eastern city Kugane and its housing area Shirogane, the new primal Susano and its beast tribe the Kojin, and more.

We also get the new illustration by Akihiko Yoshida that wil serve as the Japanese cover for the expansion. It shows new characters that will be revealed down the line.

You can enjoy them all in the gallery at the bottom of the post. Incidentally, the image at the top of the post portrays Yugiri and the newly revealed samurai character Gosetsu.

Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood will release on June 20th exclusively for PC and PS4, with the PS3 version of the game getting discontinued. PS3 users are eligible to a free upgrade to the PS4 version, and you can find out how to get it here.
