The PS4 version of Final Fantasy XIV: A realm Reborn is approaching fast and Square Enix released box artwork of the North American version of the game, together with the collector's edition and the sleeve that will include it.

Interestingly enough, the standard edition has a very different cover from the Japanese one, featuring a rather threatening black mage and a sleek dark purple color scheme that fits the PS4 quite well.

In the meanwhile, in a post on the official forums, Producer and Director Naoki Yoshida expressed the pride of the team in what they achieved on Sony's new console.

We're very proud of what we've accomplished on the PlayStation®4, and as we set out on this world tour, we're looking forward to sharing with players around the globe all the cool features offered by this new version of FFXIV: A Realm Reborn.

As a quick added bonus, that you can also see in the gallery below, a few pictures have been shown of the wind-up Moogle minion that will come in the PS4 collector's edition. Apparently if two or more of them get in range of each other they'll start dancing.

Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn will release on PS4 on April 14th, while the worldwide open beta will start on February 22nd.
