Final Fantasy XIV has cultivated a strong community over the years and while plenty of veteran players have kept up engagement over the years, those looking to delve into the massive MMORPG now have a new incentive to try it out without (as much) restriction.

In an update on the PlayStation Blog, Square Enix has announced that the 14-day time restriction from the free trial of Final Fantasy XIV has now been removed, allowing players to try out the game unrestricted and access all content up to level 35 without any time limit.

Specifically, the free trial will allow players to engage in all different types of jobs, test their skills in the first 10 levels of the Deep Dungeon, and play in all of the various activities of the Gold Saucer. The removal of the time limit from the free trial will also apply to all expired free trial accounts, which will allow players that may have tried out a trial before get back into the game and pick up the same character.

Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is available now for PS4, PS3, PC, and Mac.
