Final Fantasy XIV Site Updated With More Goodies

By Chad Awkerman

May 20, 2010

There has been quite a bit more info pushed to the English Final Fantasy XIV site recently, most notably a lot of details surrounding the landmarks and guilds of Limsa Lominsa, one of the game’s city-states. The info provided is quite helpful, especially if you’re trying to get an early start on deciding what guild(s) to join when the game goes live (or even in the beta, if you’re lucky enough).

What is also of note is the official map of Eorzea, the game’s initial continent, has been revealed. This was teased a few days ago as being in this week’s Famitsu magazine, but now it is up on the official game sites. You can get a look at it below. Sure, it’s unreadable, but it’s still pretty sweet to finally see the entire realm, right? Currently this sophomore MMO effort by Square-Enix is set to go live sometime in fiscal year 2010. Fingers crossed, everyone, fingers crossed!
