Susan Calloway is well known among Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn fans for having lent her voice to “Answers” and “Dragonsong,” the two theme songs of the game and its expansion Heavensward.

She is also deeply involved with Final Fantasy’s Distant Worlds records and concerts, and recently released her own “Artist’s Cut” of Answers (which you can find on iTunes, and listen to a small teaser here).

Today I had the pleasure of having a chat with her, talking about her work on the Final Fantasy series, the game music titan Nobuo Uematsu, her take on video game soundtracks and much more.

You can listen to the whole interview below, directly from her beautiful voice.
