For fans awaiting an official way to listen to their favorite tracks from the recent major update Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers, Square Enix brings good news. The original soundtrack will launch on September 11, 2019, as revealed by the SQEX MUSIC Twitter account in a recent status update:

The tweet above details in-store events for the release, with three venues planned. The singer Keiko, who along with Yoshimi Tsujimoto performed one of the tracks "Crimson Sunset," will be attending the events as well.

And according to the official website, the CD includes songs from Patch 4.4 and later that were not included in the previous Stormblood: Final Fantasy XIV Original Soundtrack. It also includes a full tracklist of all the songs featured in the album, including both the Japanese and English titles for each song.

The album will be on Blu-ray and will cost 5,000 yen (a little less than $50). You can preorder the album now on various websites, including the North American and European Square Enix stores. Which is great news for overseas fans who often get overlooked when it comes to OST releases.

Recently Square Enix revealed two other unique offerings for fans: a cafe with Final Fantasy XIV-style food and drinks as well as a service that allows people to fulfill their dream of a beautiful themed wedding ceremony.
