Today Square Enix delivered a press release showcasing more of the new content coming to Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn with major update 3.2 "The Gears of Change," releasing on February 23rd across the servers on PS4, PS3 and PC.

We get to see Sephirot, which is probably not "the" Sephirot you're thinking about, but a new boss fight focus of the "Containment Bay S1T7" encounter.

"Sephirot, the Fiend, was a deity once worshipped by a tree-like race native to Meracydia. Brought into being for the sole purpose of repelling the Allaganinvasion, Sephirotinflicted ruinous losses upon the imperial army before finally being subdued and imprisoned in the central facility of AzysLla. And now, millennia later, this immensely powerful entity threatens to awaken, his vengeful dreams disturbed by the careless ambitions of Archbishop ThordanVII. Topple the first pillar of the Warring Triad, or wheresoeverhis colossal shadow falls shall be visited by unthinkable catastrophe!"

Secondly, we catch a glimpse at the new ranked PvP mode "The Feast," the hall of the novice tutorial area, the mentor system, new hairstyles, the orchestrion (that will allow players to select BGMs in their housing areas),  and the new airship painting feature.

Last, but not least, we get another look at the Midan Gear (dropping in the Alexander: Midas raid) and at the Eikonic gear, that will be purchasable with the new Tomestones of Lore.
