Square Enix announced that the upcoming update 4.15 of Final Fantasy XIV will be released on November 21st.

The update comes with the new features that didn't make it into patch 4.1 a few weeks ago. First of all, we get a 24 vs 24 large-scale PvP feature named Rival Wings.

The mode divides players into two factions (Falcons and Ravens), with the objective to destroy the enemy core. It'll also be possible to control powerful machina (basically mecha), and use mammet minions, a steam cannon and a power generator to control. You probably guessed it, it's a lot like a MOBA.

Another feature that will surely delight roleplayers is the ability for bards to actually play their harps by composing tunes with actual notes. It has no gameplay effects, but it's simply nice to have. More playable instruments will be gradually added with future patches.
