Today, during a new Letter from the Producer Live broadcast, Square Enix presented the new trailer of Final Fantasy XIV update 4.2 dubbed "Rise of a New Sun."

The trailer definitely included some really interesting aspects, including the appearance of new characters on top of familiar faces, the classic Final Fantasy trope of the phantom train, the fight against Byakko, the new Omega raid, and the appearance of our old arch-enemy Kefka at the very end

The update definitely appears as full of content as we have anticipated, and there is plenty of fanservice for the nostalgics among us.

That being said, I have to admit that I definitely prefer Yotsutyu as her old self, and I'm positive I'm not the only one hoping to see her memory coming back soon.

We also learn that the update will release on January 30th.
