New Final Fantasy XV Artwork Features Cindy, Iris Umbra and More, Five Days from Release

on November 24, 2016 3:51 AM

The count-down to the release of Final Fantasy XV is continuing and Square Enix released two pieces of new artwork to celebrate six and five days from launch.

The first artwork, that you can see below, is by Artist Chihiro Hashi, and shows Luna’s dog Umbra escaping from a Malboro.

The second, by Artist Yusaku Nakaaki and featured above, portrats Cindy (or Cidney, for those who prefer to use her original name), Gladio’s sister Iris and the Regalia.

Interestingly, Cidney is dressed in a decidedly different and more “covered up” outfit compared to her rather explosive usual getup. It appears to be a driver/pilot outfit, in fact the original tweet mentions a flight test of the Regalia.

Final Fantasy XV will be released on November 29th for PS4 and Xbox one, and we’re really getting close. If you missed it, you can read the patch notes of the day one “Crown Update” here.
