Today the Japanese magazine Weekly Famitsu hosted a livestream on Nico Nico, and Final Fantasy XV Director Hajime Tabata was present as a special guest.

Tabata-san gave a couple of interesting pieces of information on the upcoming Holiday Pack DLC that should be delivered in December, and mentioned that it will be include some kind of New Game Plus, and a level limiter feature that will let you cap the level of the party to challenge yourself.

On top of that, Tabata-san was also asked whether the "Mystery Disk" that was showcased at the game's launch will ever be publicly released, and he mentioned that it's in preparation for release. That said, he did not fully confirm how it might be released or when.

The Holiday Pack DLC is scheduled  to be released for free to anyone who purchased the game (but those who got the Season Pass will get a beefed-up version titled Holiday Pack+. It will  decorate the game's cities for the holidays, and more.

Today Square Enix announced that the game topped five million shipments, and is the fastest-selling Final Fantasy game out of the gate. Of course the woorldwide release helped with that, but so far, so good.
