Today Square Enix announced that Final Fantasy XV will get a brand new update on January 21st, and it comes with some rather juicy goodies.
First of all, the Assassin’s Festival will end, so if you haven’t grabbed your Assassin’s Creed crossover goodies, you better hurry.
Perhaps the most exciting feature is the ability to spar against Aranea Highwind at the camp. Considering how many love her, I’m sure this will be a welcome addition. A standby option will also be added to the camp menu, letting you opt to skip some time.
Alessio’s trading post in Altissia will also sell new items to help out in our adventurers, while the tutorial will be expanded with new drills. Lastly, there will be the usual minor bug fixes to make the experience even smoother than it already is.
This is just the latest of the Final Fantasy XV news we got today. Just this morning Square Enix announced the release date of the Windows Edition (of which we also saw some really spiffy 4K screenshots) and detailed the previously-rumored Royal Edition.
Final Fantasy XV is currently available for PS4 and Xbox One, and will be released for PC on March 6th.
