New Final Fantasy XV Mobile Game Final Fantasy XV: A New Empire Revealed
The previously teased mobile Final Fantasy XV game by Machine Zone suddenly appears.
A few days ago, a website appeared, showcasing a mobile game named Final Fantasy XV: A New Empire. The website appeared to be a pre-reghistration site, but the quality of the assets and the lack of information on developer “Epic Action” led many to doubt its legitimacy. The website has since been removed, and DualShockers contacted Square Enix for clarification.
Today, the game reappeared, this time on the New Zealand iTunes store, spotted by TouchArcade forum user KeKhan. The store page includes some screenshots (which you can see in the gallery at the bottom of the post), and a description.

Your legend starts now in the new MMORPG: Final Fantasy 15: A New Empire.
In the meanwhile, Square Enix responded to our inquiry, confirming the legitimacy of the game, as you can read in their comment below.
“It is true that a mobile MMO game with ”Final Fantasy XV”’s characters, story, and sounds is under development by our licensee Machine Zone(MZ).
The “Final Fantasy XV: A New Empire” website is sponsored by Epic Action, a studio of MZ, and is intended to allow for pre-registration of the game.”
So the game is actually legitimate, and it’s the fruit of the previously announced deal with Machine Zone (Which Hajime Tabata himself talked about in our recent interview). It appears to be a MMO/RTS/City Builder hybrid, and will most probably be made available in other marketplaces down the line.
We have contacted Epic Action directly to hear about their release plans, and we’ll let you know if we hear anything relevant.
In the meanwhile, you can check out the screenshots below.
