Today the Japanese magazine Weekly Famitsu was released in Japan, and it included a four page article on Final Fantasy XV‘s demo Episode Duscae, giving us a glimpse ¬†on what we’ll see when the demo will release alongside Type-0 HD on March 17th.

The article showcased quite a few spiffy screenshots, that you can check out in the gallery at the bottom of the post.

Prominently, we see a return of the red-eyed version of the protagonist Noctis. We also learn more about cooking, with the ability to create recipes like the Fuwatoro Egg on Toast while camping at night. Food will grant bonuses, while camping will allow you to put thee experience you accumulated to good use to level up.

The demo will feature a wide variety of environments, like plains, forests and mountains, and there will also be caves populated by monsters more challenging than those you can find normally. Yet, they’ll also come with treasures.

We also get a glimpse on quests, that have markers like in modern MMORPGs. The fight against the Behemoth will be quite challenging, and if Noctis’ hit points reach zero, his companions will be able to revive him.

But without further ado, you can check out the screenshots below.
